PADLET TO INSPIRE TO WRITTING

Embarking on the journey of writing doesn't have to be a daunting task—let's infuse it with excitement! For some students, the idea of composing more than a couple of sentences can be overwhelming. But fear not, as we've crafted an engaging solution: a virtual class library on Padlet!

Let's transition into expert "Booktokers" and construct our very own digital library. Each student will contribute by recommending a book to the class, fostering lively discussions and literary exploration.

To add a dynamic touch to the experience, let's adhere to a structured format. Here are eight key points to guide students' book recommendations:

TITLE AND AUTHOR (+ PHOTO OF THE BOOK COVER)

1. Favorite Character: who stole the show for you?

2. Plot Summary: provide a glimpse without giving away too much!

3. Favorite Part: share the moment that left you spellbound.

4. Not-So-Favorite Part: was there a twist that caught you off guard?

5. What I Learned: convey the valuable lessons the book taught you.

6. Funny Moment: did the book make you burst into laughter?

7. Rating (5 stars): summarize your overall impression quickly.

8. Who Would Like This Book: recommend it to specific tastes or preferences.

This structured approach acts as a stepping stone to more extended, comprehensive writing activities. It not only engages students in thoughtful reflection but also prompts them to consider various aspects of storytelling.
